Events in the Wetterhoff quarter
The Wetterhoff quarter offers the opportunity to visit exhibitions, to attend a wide range of cultural events and to buy products of the highest quality at the Wetterhoff shop. Christmas at Wetterhoff, for example, provides an opportunity for handicrafts entrepreneurs, enthusiasts and students to exhibit and sell their own products at the traditional Christmas fair. The annual themed exhibitions, which are opened to the public in the spring, display a variety of traditional textiles and examples of modern design every year. The events in and around the Wetterhoff quarter are supported jointly by the Fredrika Wetterhoff Foundation, Häme Polytechnic and Tavastia Further Education College. This co-operation has resulted in a wide range of interesting, frequently changing exhibitions and events and also a shop with a constantly changing selection of high-quality products.
